What is BharOS ? 
Bharat Operating System Solutions (BharOS) is an Indian government-funded project to develop a free and open-source operating system (OS) for mobile devices and computers. The project is being led by the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), an organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in India and  The main purpose of BharOS is to reduce India's dependence on foreign technology and to promote the use of indigenous software in government and critical infrastructure. The goal of BharOS is to create an operating system that can be used on a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and servers, and to make it available for free to users and developers. BharOS is still in development phase and not yet launched
What is functions of BharOS ?.

The main functions of Bharat Operating System Solutions (BharOS) are to provide a free and open-source operating system (OS) for mobile devices and computers that can replace proprietary systems like Android and iOS in India, and to reduce India's dependence on foreign technology.
