How to Use and Deactivate the Same WhatsApp Account on Four Phones

0

WhatsApp now allows you to log into the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones at the same time.

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Update WhatsApp: Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on all the phones you want to use.

  2. Open WhatsApp: Open WhatsApp on the first phone and go to Settings > WhatsApp Web/Desktop. If you are using an iPhone, go to Settings > WhatsApp Web.

  3. Scan QR code: On the first phone, tap the "Scan QR code" button and use the phone's camera to scan the QR code displayed on the second phone.

  4. Log in: After scanning the QR code, you will be automatically logged into WhatsApp on the second phone. Repeat this process for the third and fourth phones.

  5. Manage sessions: To manage your sessions, go to Settings > WhatsApp Web/Desktop on the first phone. Here, you can see a list of all the active sessions and log out of any of them.

Note: WhatsApp on multiple devices is currently in beta and may not be available to everyone. Also, you will need a stable internet connection on all the phones to use this feature

If you no longer want to use the same WhatsApp account on four phones, you can deactivate it using the following steps:

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Open WhatsApp: Open WhatsApp on any one of the phones that you used to access the account.

  2. Go to WhatsApp Web/Desktop: On the phone screen, click on the three dots on the top right corner of the screen and select WhatsApp Web/Desktop.

  3. Manage active sessions: On the WhatsApp Web page, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and you will see a list of all active sessions for your account. You can see the devices and the web browsers where the session is active.

  4. Log out: To log out of any of the active sessions, click on the "Log out from all devices" button at the bottom of the screen. This will log you out of all active sessions and prevent any further access to your account from those devices.

  5. Confirm: A pop-up message will appear to confirm your action. Click on "Log out" to confirm and logout from all active sessions.

Once you log out from all the active sessions, you will need to log in again on any device you want to use WhatsApp. This will also ensure that your account is safe and secure from unauthorized access.
