How to download FIR copy online from State Police Website
The move comes following a direction by the Delhi high court on December 6th, 2010. It said an indicted is entitled to get a dupe of the FIR within 24 hours of its enrolment . The court had said the FIRs should be uploaded online within 24 hours of its enrolment though it exempted the force from making public FIRs on sensitive issues.
- Visit the State Police Station website
- Find the FIR runner
- Enter FIR no, Police Station name, and any other detail
- Search and download the dupe of FIR when it appears in the result
Some FIRs are also made public. still, you still need to know a lot of details.
- District, Police Station, and Year (mandatory fields)
- Date range (i.e., enter FIR DATE FROM and TO fields)
- Name of one of the Accused, Complainant, or Victim.
- You can enter partial names also
- Click on Search Button to proceed
